DSXBEAR-I will be riding florence on saturday with the wife.We will be spending some time out at comp hill running my new 690 build to see how it performs.I have a silver raptor with eyeball headlight covers and dual exhaust so i am pretty easy to spot .What will you be riding?

I heard I need a special holiday pass to get on the dunes in florence this weekend??? Is that true? I have a site reserved at sand dunes frontier and they didnt mention it?

 

I will be camping at goose creek. All my riding buddies bailed on me so I will be alone. I will be riding a 01 CR 250R, so if you see me in your pack, don't be alarmed! No special permits apply over the holiday weekend, if you have a place reserved, you are good to go. If you are sand camping, you do need a permit, which is free. but, if you are looking at this time for a place to stay, you are out of luck, no reservations left.

 

I will be in Winchester with a small crew tomorrow but heading back to Seattle Saturday evening to be in town for festivities!

 

I just got home from Horsefall. Had a good time. Not very many people out this Holiday. I was really surprised, there was only about 100 people at Boxcar, which is very strange. But we had a good time. Dunes were smooth and fast, alot of new holeshots. Hope you all had a good 4th.

oh yea, the stator on my girlfriends warrior went out, so if anybody knows were to get one for cheap let me know!! Need to have new one in and Warrior fixed by the 14th of August.

 

Just got back. It was great riding. Not all that crowded either. I finally ventured up to the "fun" stuff on Sunday for a good hard ride, mostly empty dunes and windy! It was great. My back is feeling alot better, I think the riding helped! Sorry I missed your Post duneitdillludie. I hope you had a great time too!

Off to New York City for vacation, then on to Dunefest! Hope to see some of you there!
