Black River Falls. WI
We had a pretty good storm roll through here yesterday morning and we just had rain again tonight for about an hour or so. I rode from merrillan just north a little bit (technical probs, lost an oil cap and rode for 5 miles open, not good) and the trails are in good shape, but a little soggy. The is standing water in spots up to a foot or so deep depending on the area. Most of the Clark trails will be gravel roads with think bases so you shouldn't have to worry about getting stuck, just watch out when you are riding in wooded areas where the gravel turns to sand or dirt, thats where it will be soft and rutted.
I have a feeling there will still be water on the trails this weekend in spots becuase it takes a while to drain off and dry out.

yea we just got back, the first 20 miles or so from black river falls was pretty bad, we put on over 300 miles in the 3 days we were there. The standing water was awesome, my dad got his sportsman500 stuck in water up to the seat....the little monster kept running as we winched her out. Also I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with the 400EX carb. Well theres a little black cover that goes over the throttle assembly on the carb. There's a little hole on the bottom of that for a breather of some sort. And oddly enough he got a rock up that little hole and it blocked his whole throttle. He couldn't go faster than 10mph...we had to strip the whole thing down just to get the rock out. It had to be a million to one chance to have something like that happen. Good times tho Predator performed awesome, drag raced a couple machines, modded 400EX(smoked em), yfz450(hung with him till top end due to low gearing), raptor(smoked him like a cheba) lol
