Hatfield - trail systems

Default Hatfield - trail systems

Which of the Hatfield trailsystems is the least rocky? Which area has the most modern facilites (hotel, restaurants, etc)?

I'd have to say Pinnacle or Water Ways has least rocks. Water Ways is closest to Charleston WV which is very nice. I think it's about 15 minutes from Charleston.

Rockhouse would probably the best for places to stay and eat...town of Gilbert or man are on each end of Rockhouse, There are quite a few "cabins" ,"trailhouse's" and other places to stay with some of them just as good, if not better as "modern" facilties... and either town you are able to ride your quad in...
You can easily spend 2 days riding Rockhouse if not 3
Pinnacle Creek or Waterways are the easiest as well as the smoothest

also look up trails heaven website for Hatfield/McCoy
