BTW is "By The Way". Levy did the 180 because he found there was legal riding in Suffolk when the "group with the small track" had told the legislators there was no legal riding at all. Unfortunately that legal track is a supercross track that offers little to the beginner or novice. If you're not skilled you'll get hurt on that track or be eating someone's roost all day long.

 

I've been to Island Motocross a lot and have had very few problems. I like the way they regulate it and your yearly fee's go for something. They groom the track well, and segregate the riders by skills, and its never crowded. I have seen LIORV members show up with their membership cards trying to get on but are turned away; what a surprise that must be. They are also the ONLY AMA sanctioned track on the island.
