Default here is some place aorund NY NJ and PA!!!!!!!

PLACES TO RIDE ATVS

New Jersey Off Road Vehicle Park:
Location: Chatsworth NJ
Drive length: 3 hours with no traffic
Has approximately 15 miles of trails which all split off one main trail (red trail). Has Beginner track that ATVS and dirt bike are both allowed on. There is an ATV only track that is open to all atvs and a dirt bike only track open to all dirt bikes. Beginner track is for kids and people just learning to ride. Conditions are sandy trails through woods stock tire do perfectly fine sand tires are not necessary and I have never seen them used here. I run stock tire on my ATV and never had a problem sand tire would be overkill. Most of the sand is packed down.

Tower City Trail riders:
location: Tower City PA
Drive length: 4 hours with no traffic
Have been to this location once it was very rocky and almost not able to be ridden on by a atv sport quad. I would not recommend this location to a sport quad rider but maybe a four wheel drive atv rider that likes rocky technical trails. I barley got the clutch out and never came out of first gear one most of the trails most of the day. Just to give you an example of how rocky it was, most rocks were from the size of a basketball to the size of the quad. Maybe I should call them boulders. Did not know you riding style so I listed this location but it is only for a utility four wheel drive quad. The website says they have added new trails and update the location but I doubt it has any fewer boulders. Some trails are closed during hunting season Monday thru Saturday. These trails amount to less than 900 acres. Open riding all Sundays.

Hatfield And McCoy trails:
Location: All over southern West Virginia
Drive length: 12-13 hours
This is what most people call Atvers heaven. It has close to 500 miles of trails in five separate trail system. Each trails system is about 45 minutes to 1 hour away form each other. I have been to three of the five trail systems. My favorite system is Browning Fork Trail system. It has great easy fast paced but enjoyable trails. Also this is the one trail system that lets quads in the streets on both sides of the mountain. I could write a 20 pages essay on this location and strongly recommend going for 5 to 7 days. Well worth the trip. Also you can rent utility atvs for about 100 bucks a day so your friends without quads may go too. If you have any question of this location or any other locations just let me know I can tell you mostly what you need to know. Also places to stay and just about everything needed to know. Upstate New York Trail Systems:
Location: all over upstate NY
Drive length: 3 to 12 hours upstate depending on location
I have never been to these location but might join this site it is called trail pass and for 50 buck it allows you to about 8 or 9 systems. The location I am interested it is called Dolgeville it has 100 miles of trails 8 hours away from long island. It also has site that are not part of trail pass but still shows you where they are and give you directions. One is ATVNY.COM( LIMBO LAKE) but I do not suggest this place because it is very unorganized and dangerous no marked trials atv go both ways through apple orchards and fields with only a atv flag to spot each other I have seem accidents and have gone here but I am very careful when riding hear. Usually only go on a weekday due to the park will be to yourself. You must call before going so the owner is there to open the land. The trialpass.com and ATVNY ( LIMBO LAKE) are two unrelated locations.
Website: http://www.trailpass.com/
The website for the ATVNY ( LIMBO LAKE) place that I only recommend for a day trip or maybe to go to before going upstate to trails pass is http://atvny.com/home.html I strongly recommend NJORVP over ATVNY which are the same drive but NJORVP is much bigger also cost about the same.
