St Joe tomorrow Sat Sept 25??
Although it sounds like it was a good day for you, it was a bad day for us. Jerrod, aka PowerJukie, was in a car wreck around 1 am this morning. He was about 2 miles outside of Ste. Genevieve and was taken to Ste. Genevieve Memorial Hospital and then airlifted to St. Louis University Hospital. 1 broken vertebrae, 2 broken ribs, and 25% collapsed lung, lacerations on left cheek and around left eye.

St Joe tomorrow Sat Sept 25??
Thanks Jeff, I'll tell him. He will certainly appreciate that.
The cut around his eye was actually his eyelid, THANK GOD that there was no damage to his eye. It was very close! The doctors said that it barely missed the tendon that holds the eyeball up. As far as his back, they said that he will be in a back brace for 3 months.
That was one of those calls that you never want to get. The really bad thing, we passed the accident site around 1:30 - 2 AM and we saw the flatbed hauler, we just didn't realize it was his car! He must have already been at the hospital. And since we didn't know it was him, we came home, arrived home around 3:30 AM and got the phone call shortly after 5 AM. If we had only realized that it was him! I guess I should be glad that we were far enough behind that we didn't witness the accident or be the ones to stumble upon the situation. That would have been tough.
But anyways, I'll tell him you all send your best wishes.
