Yeah, they are really something, like I said from the research I did there are 3 locations in the world.

Just they way they are resting on top of each other I guess, the one that is just 50 miles from us seems to be the most unique as it is a pile that is about 70ft high the other two seem to be spread out and more flat. The ones at Pipestone are a great place to take folks to, you can get there with a Subaru but the more clearance the better. Pick up or Jeep is a better option. best option is to park at the main lot and ride ATV's, Side by Sides, or motorcyles in.

I may make it to Montana some day but none of the other places. I like the end of this video in Peru. Bell stone. Not a bell stone. It really shows the difference.

Well,
That's exactly what happens when a chunk of those rocks break off, no metallic sound on the broken off piece. If you ever do make it to this part of the country I'd love to take you there, pretty cool. And a lot of other cool places too!

I really don't like long drives. I can go for a couple of hours but after that I get sore and tired and my mind starts wandering. I don't think I could make it to Montana in one piece.

You're in Michigan? That is a long ways, I have just done so much driving I guess I don't even think about it much. When I bought our 2nd Can Am that I found in Fort Collins Colorado, I left at 4:00 in the afternoon and pulled into my brother's in Fort Collins at 3:00 a.m. Slept for 3 hrs loaded up at 6:30 pulled into my driveway at 4:30 that afternoon, 1300 miles in 21 1/2 hrs of drive time. Not going to lie was a little tired after that trip. Well, in any event if you were to ever make it out our direction out is a standing invitation.
