what place in Kansas is the best to ride,and what place is closest to KC. How far from KC and how many acres?

It's a short list of places to ride in KS. The ones I've been to are the Corps of Engineers riding areas near Milford and Perry lakes. They're both small areas, but full of trails that will keep you busy and challenged for at least one weekend. Milford is the bigger of the two, and the one I went to most often. Perry was frozen when I was there last December, so I didn't get a real good feel for the place.

There are some other places near KC, but I've never been there.
Do a search for "deepwater" on this forum and see what comes up. That's in MO, but not near KC.

hi guys.... yes..deepwater is five miles from my house...great riding.. im not shure how many acres..but lots ! right off the lake.
take a compass,,,you'll get lost.! ton's of trails !
go south out of k/c on 71 to harrisonville ..take 7 hiway south ... keep going through clinton. 7 turns into 13 hiway...six more miles on yer left...just across from deepwater.very small trashy town......lol !

 

I have been to Deepwater and Columbia. We are looking for different places to ride. Something within a couple hours of KC. We love going to both of those places as well as the Little Sahara but are up for something new.Thank you for both of your replies...

 

We have been to both Milford and Perry. I like Perry better because it's closer. We also go up to Grindstone Mx Park in Hamilton, Mo. There is a MX track, a TT track, a PeeWee track, a Drag Strip and some trails. Check out my brother's website for all of the rides which are planned. http://www.atvn2extreme.com/

 

How long of a drive is it to Grindstone MX park? I would love to ride on the tracks. How many trails and do they have races every weekend or is it open for all to ride? I heard there was some trails at the Pleasant Hill fair graound do you know if it is legal to ride there?

 

Your a week late. Grindstone is closed to the public till Jan. 5th. When they reopen let's hook up and go. I let the kids ride around the flat open areas and we hit the rest. Do you like Poker Rides? There is one in Sedalia on Nov. 28th. I have gone to it for about 4 years now. they have 2 a year. PM me if ya want more info as i have flyers for it.

 

Blasterboy did you get my PM. If not I am definetly interested in the poker ride in Sedalia. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.How long does the ride last,How much ground do you cover and anything else you can think of.
