Anyone Ride In Kansas??
#41
Hey Guys,
Sorry I have not been a part of this post. I hang out on the HighLifter boards most of the time. Anyway we have a group of guys from the Manhattan area that call ourselves Team Dirt Devil. We ride alot at Milford and Tuttle as well as a few private areas. We are also putting on an ATV Mud Bog in September that will be a blast. We are a pretty diverse (sp) group of guys from young bucks on 2wd 2 strokes to a bunch of us on 4x4 Utes that love the mud to some even older guys that just like to ride the trails and watch us be stupid. Some of our rides are just the guys but many of them are big family outings.
I will try to keep an eye on this Thread and keep you guys up to date on where we will be riding and maybe we can come join you guys for a ride as well.
ToadMeister, I work in Topeka every day so if you ever want to get together and chat about ATV's drop me a line at wlee@freetrapper.com

Hey whats up?
I am looking for new people to ride with, and places to go. I would like to know about the place to ride in Osawatomie (assuming KS), I usually go to my parents lake property in Mound City, and that is close. If someone could let me know when you are planning to make a trip there, I'd like to try it once and see what it's like. If someone can give me directions, or tell me what it's by, I might want to check it out this weekend or next.

Here, this is the information/directions KVRMUDDRUNNER posted to me on another post, I haven't been there yet, but I found the information he gave me very helpful on directions and what to exspect, hope this helps.
I can tell you exactly where it is but I need to know which direction you are comin from. The way I come from is Eudora, KS, near KC. I take 7 highway south towards Olathe. Then I take the exit to John Brown Road. Take a right and that leads you to down town Osawatomie. There's a bank on the corner to your left at a stop light, take a left and go straight and turn right at the chinese restaurant. That will take you to a guys house where this place is to ride. Its on the left and its a big field where you can tell atv's and dirtbikes ride. The field is basically a big *** drag strip and there is no grass left at all. This place is also a salvage yard and there are a ton of cars and trucks in this field as well. Anyone is welcome to ride there. Doesn't cost anything, just stay on all the trails. You can't ride on the levees unless you want to pay a $1000 fine. There are sometimes cops ontop of the levees to tell you the rules of riding there and where to ride. They are really nice cops. Hell, they get their radar guns out and clock ya if you want them to. They are happy to do it. Osawatomie has a ton of trails mainly. The best thing is the drag strip. You can race about 10 or 15 atvs at once. Its a blast.

Thakns for the quick reply. I would be coming from the SPring Hill area, so I just head down 169. I think that once I get into town I can figure out where thsi place is from the directions you have given.
?? - Do you think I would have any issues with my 4 year old boy riding his Raptor 50 at this place on the trails?
Thanks
