Sorry, I've got auto racing going on at Heartland Park Topeka that weekend. I went out to Tuttle last Saturday, and this upcoming weekend I will probably go over to Perry cause it's clost to me, I live in Topeka.

Maybe the 30th or 31st. Keep me posted if your group is going anywhere. I would like to try Milford. I have not been there yet.

No problem, maybe next time. I live near Manhattan but work in Topeka every day. Maybe some day we can get together and talk ATV's.

I know I'm replying to an old post, but here goes.
We've got over 70 miles of riding between Deerfield & Dodge City on the dried up Arkansas River Bed. It's pretty much wide open fast trail riding with a few sections of tight woops thrown in. There are also several abandoned sand pits with small sand hills. You can ride from Garden City (where I live) to Cimarron (about 35 miles), ride up to a convenience store, get a snack & fill up with gas.
Every year, a group of motorcycle & quad riders have a poker run on July 4th, between Garden City & Dodge City. it is very well ran, with water & fuel stops along the way. Put it on your '06 calendar, it's a blast!!

 

Thanks for joining in, This post needs to be updated often or we Kansas riders need to start our own web site to keep up with whats going on. I know that the KATVA has a sight but it does not seem like a lot of Kansas riders are members.

 

To be honest KATVAs site is slow to update and I have mentioned to them about getting a small forum started. Either their own or get a KATVA perminate thread on another site with one of the board members as a mod. There is a group in OK that has done this.

Gabriel Trails is just a locally owned peice of land here in Parsons that as kids we grew up and went there to ride bicycles. Now that we've gotten older we've graduated to four wheelers. I'm sure the younger kids still ride down there. However to answer the question it is on the north edge of Parsons east of 59 hiway along the labette creek, there is an old creek bed on the other side of it so it is a heavily wooded area between two creek beds with trails everywhere in between. The folks that own it let us ride as long as we ask for permission in advance. I hope that has answered any of your questions. I had my funnest time down there while a light rain was coming down. We had coveralls on, boots and helmets and boy was it muddy![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

Hey! Im like you always looking for more area's to ride! I know your POST is old (november) but Wanted to see if you replied anyhow! My whole family is into dirtbikes and quads love Little Siera and of course racing. I have seen as of late some circle track racing on quads and I believe its at I 70 speedway wondering if you have any info on that!
