I am planning on racing in the Wildwood MX race in Oct. My brother-in-law has a place in Wildwood for me to stay, so in return I offered to let him race my Banshee on that day.

Problem is he needs some practice. Are there any practice tracks in the Northern NJ area that we can go to?

I actually live in CT, but he lives in Northern NJ, near Sparta I think.

 

there are no tracks in northerm nj. if you want a track, there is a off road park in chatsworth nj (about 45mins from wildwood) that has a atv track and a mx track. you can also trylembo lake in ny(atvnewyork.com) it has a mx track and a 6 mile enduro track. I think it is exit 17 off the thruway. there are some local places in north jersey to ride in but, they are mainly cross country type riding. there is good riding available in mahwah nj right off of route 17

I looked at the site for atvny and it says that you can not have aftermarket exhaust. So I guess that rules me out since both quads I would bring do not have stock exhaust.

What about the Jack Forest place in PA? It looks pretty good on the internet, how is it in person?

 

Lasher: Jack Frost is a real nice place. It is well maintained and the people are pretty nice. There is a little snack stand there and everything. The supercross track there is awesome. There are 3 motocross tracks and an enduro track. The practice jump area or whatever it is isn't there yet. Well, it wasn't there about 3 weeks ago. It's a great place to ride. When is the race at Wildwood?? Thanks.

 

Yup, RonHonda is correct. Nothin' in northern N.J. But, there is a track not far from the Newburgh exit on the NYS Thruway.They have a website. www.waldenmx.com/track.htm I haven't been there yet but I have some hope! Traxx at Jack Frost is fun! great jumps... only 1 hour and 45 min from Rockland County N.Y.
