Minnesota riders?
#11
In MN in the winter, there arent many choices. Frozen lakes, gilbert, and the old railroad lines like the soo line, and gandy.
Not all of the snowmobile trails in WI are open to atvs, just some of them. I havent ridden any yet, but i want to. I was thinking danbury, because its about the halfway point, between southern and northern mn.
Im open to ideas. And with christmas coming up, ive got some time off work.
Has anyone ridden the trails in danbury in winter?

Hondabuster,
What city are you from?
I saw you list Gilbert, I have been doing so much riding out by my hunting shack, I didn't even realize that the Gilbert atv park was open on the weekends in the winter. That must be something new. I know it wasn't open in the winter the first year. I think a winter cruise through there would be fun and there is a good amount of trails in the surrounding area, I could be the free tour guide. I'd go riding if you guys can help me find an ATV! Haha... I'm in the market for a quad, but I'm having issues shopping for one. I made a post under "shopping for a quad" section. It's called "Need help, low cost, manual, fit's 6'3" rider"
Also, if you guys have any word a good deal used...let me know.
Thanks!!

Ive been to gilbert a few times, but never with snow on the ground. Could be alot of fun if you stay dry. Lots of steep hills to come sliding down.
Im up for it. Let me know when and where to meet.
gsxr150, too bad I didnt know about it sooner...I had an ozark for sale and ended up selling too low, not sure about 6ft 3 fitting on it though. Get the tradin times, and scan it for deals, and dont be afraid to offer less than the seller wants, its not a good time to sell right now.
If thats where we want to go, we probably need to go before alot of snow flies, or the 2x4 drivers will have a hard time.
Heres some info on the gilbert site, according to this, fri sat and sun, are open unless theres too much snow.
