Minnesota riders?

Chet,
I think the guy with the decked out SP was WhoDatInDaMud. I know he was on our last trip to Nemadji and he blew an axle. MudStud buried his SP on the same trip. I had a Vinson for this ride. The SP500 was the year before. I had the green SP and a "loud" blue helmet. I also think this was the trip that a bunch of us bought some bad gas from the place in Nickerson.
First chance we get, we should get this ride planned. Anyone toss out dates/locations. Nemadji would be fun again, but the last trip there we encountered 23 horses. on the trail.

That was the trip lep77m, I remember a bunch of people complaining about allot of rust in the gas from a large and very old tank where we parked. Fortunately I did not buy gas there.. I think I remember you.
Especially that one time when we stopped for quite a time somewhere on the trail. I was near your green sp. I do remember that. - we stopped in at that bar in holyocke and had a burger. rangerchet

would love to ride this weekend, but I have to work and old-man winter is bringing a present this weekend in the form of some snow........hopefully If that happens, I'll be out chasing coyotes.
Not to mention that I am out of a tow vehicle for the time being. Took the car in for a tranny flush and found out that I have an oil leak that will cost a grand to fix. Time to dump it and get a truck.

These trails are simply old logging roads in the woods. Many of them, you can ride a large circle and never have to back track. These trails offer all kinds of challenges. You want a utility atv under you. I rode with them for a few years and we had some fun times. You can find there website or I could put you intouch with them. I recomend them because like I say. They know where to ride. I am usually lost when I ride with them so don't want to be the ride coordinator and be expected to get you back to your truck. Ha Ha! I have my places to ride but I also hunt them and would be reluctant to show 50 people my paradise grouse hunting area. I own 20 acres near the alborn/pengilly atv trail and I have rode on it. Its a rather boring ride since it is 36 miles almost straight as an arrow on an old railroad bed. It is far though. Hope this helps. - rangerchet

I am not familiar with that specific club, but I am well aware of those trails up hwy 4 you are talking about, especially around whiteface. I also have my own little grouse paridise I would rather not show off to a big group, it is a bit north of whiteface. You are right about riding all day and never hitting the same trail though. You are also right about preferably having a utility. There is everything from regular trails to lots of logs to mudruns to hills to rivers to beaver ponds and even muddy hills.

LEP7MM,
Even though it says somewhere in minnesota under your name, it must be southern MN because the snow has been flying up here for a few days.
