I would be interested!!! My in-laws have land next to Nemadji so I would have a place for a few to stay if anything. I havent been to Gilbert yet, would like to get there someday. Me and 3 guys from our club just got back from Oskaloosa Iowa, man is that a nice place, 4 tracks, hill climbs, woods.
Gsxr150 I have a 2003 Predator I would let go for the right price, if interested e-mail me at PreddyFast and let me know.

Several years ago and from this forum. Us Minnesotans did set up a spring atv ride on opening day.
We wen't on those legal atv trails near hwy 23 east askov area. We had about 35 to 40 show up.
Quite a few actually. There was still snow on the ground and some of us had some getting stuck in the
snow problems, but with all the atv's. Everyone made it back. I do not have a windshield on my atv so
prefer not riding in winter. That ride was pretty good. My atv is stored at my dads in cloquet, minnesota
So I have to go there and get it. Its a good idea actually. be advised also, that on the minneota fishing forum. They are talking there about setting up a atv ride also from that forum. - rangerchet

PS: I just thought of something. There are now 2 atv clubs in duluth minnesota. I used to be a member
of the oldest club. It is called the arrowhead atv club. A guy named Gene used to be the ride coordinator and the new coordinator learned from him where to ride. You see that club does not ride the designated atv trails very often. They know the best places to ride. Many of them are off of hwy 4 also known as rudy purpich memorial drive. North of duluth. These trails are simply old logging roads in the woods. Many of them, you can ride a large circle and never have to back track. These trails offer all kinds of challenges. You want a utility atv under you. I rode with them for a few years and we had some fun times. You can find there website or I could put you intouch with them. I recomend them because like I say. They know where to ride. I am usually lost when I ride with them so don't want to be the ride coordinator and be expected to get you back to your truck. Ha Ha! I have my places to ride but I also hunt them and would be reluctant to show 50 people my paradise grouse hunting area. I own 20 acres near the alborn/pengilly atv trail and I have rode on it. Its a rather boring ride since it is 36 miles almost straight as an arrow on an old railroad bed. It is far though. Hope this helps. - rangerchet

Hi Preddyfast, Well, maybe you know the area pretty good now and would want to be one of the guides.
I remember when we were in that field where the snow got deep. I got stuck there and some guy picked up the rear end of my polaris xpedition and moved it over so I was no longer stuck. I did help 3 or 4 people get unstuck on that trip to. That guy was pretty strong. that place is a possibility. rangerchet

a ride before the snow flies would be fun.

RangerChet,

I remember you from the Nemadji rides. You had the Expedition with Mud Bugs. I was riding a SP500 at that time but have been through a couple other machines since then.

PreddyFast,

better hope for some cold weather to freeze them lakes. We'll have to get Roofer out for a ride on of these days.

GSXR,

If you want a machine that will fit you, send me an e-mail @ Lone_eagle7mm@hotmail.com. (Sorry Dave ) I've got two to choose from.

Hi lep7mm, ya, when there is only one of a kind atv on the trip, its easier to remember me. There was a few sp500's on that trip. I do remember the one guy whom had the decked out sp500 that day. He had lots of accessories. The sp500 was camo. I remember one guy that had a red 2 gal. jug of spare gas that he strapped on the rear of his atv. While riding it tipped over and was spilling out gas steady untill he noticed it. I was behind him at the time, the gas really stunk. We did have a pretty good day, that day. It is nice to hear from people, I have met before on a ride.

Like I said before, later on, if you guys want to go on a real atv ride. I could contact the people I know at the duluth arrowhead atv club and they could guide us on a real good ride. If you all, like that idea that is. northman ps: I have one atv buddy in cloquet that woulid like to join a ride.
