I NEED A GLAMIS UPDATE
#11
Also, since you live in Running Springs, would it be insane for someone to think they're driving up to Big Bear tomorrow to go snowboarding in this storm? (Yes, my son again). Anyone have any Valium for him?

Yes, Rasor is up off the 15, out near Baker.
As for the conditions up here, well, I snowboard myself, but I would probably wait until this storm passes before hitting the slopes. Plus, we got a mix of snow and rain, and driving on slush is the worst.

We just returned from Glamis and other than a sand storm the weather was fantastic. We were there jan 8-thru the 13 and stayed in Gordons wells and rode to glamis and the sand dunes near gordons wells and had the time of our lives. It was raining in San diego while we were dry and warm . There were seven of us from Indiana that went and would recomend this to anyone who loves sand riding.Had to buy paddle tires in Yuma as the 400 ex I was on struggled to climb the dunes . If you go take paddles or buy them out there and you will enjoy your ride much better.
