im in moundsville, just south of wheeling. i know what you mean about not open all the time. i ride mostly on our farm that my parents own and on a good friends place with alot of acres. pretty steep in most places but lots of fun.

 

We get down to wellsville quite often im sure this is a stupid question, have u been there?

 

actually, ive only been to 1 place in wellsville. we raced at a place called coal hollow. and also a place in toronto called cable creek. i don't know if these are regular riding areas though. where in wellsville do you ride??

 

we park at a place called oaktree sportsman club. Its not a place for beginner riders with the terrain and its easy to get lost if you dont know where you are going. Here is a link to some info http://www.northeasttrailriders.com/wellsville.html . Plannin on going on good friday this year

Open Saturday and Sunday 8am to 6pm with a $10/per day riding fee. ESRP is located 9miles South of Canton on Rt 43 (1 miles North of Waynesburg), Go West on Elson Street (right) ¼ mile and look for signs, easiest way to get there is take I-77 South to Rt 30 East. To Rt 43 South and look for Elson St, just before getting to Waynesburg.

Review: This is an excellent area to ride. It's NOT really a family, beginner area for riding. Some of the trails can be brutal. It has MUD, lotsa steep hills, and many tricky trails.This is Definately NOT an EASY ride area.-----------I'll be returning for MORE riding there!!!( 4 X 4 is highly recomended)

check out ohiomafiariders.com there are a bunch of listings for places to ride. one place that ive been to several times is crow canyon (www.crowcanyonmx.com) several trails, couple mx tracks, pretty good overall riding.

 

jeff, do u mainly ride motocross type stuff?

 

dwpalmer, im at OhioMafiaRiders.com alot. i went to the place that they call palnskie (SPELLING) what a ride. just inside of PA. about 30 minutes south of sharon PA. monster hills, some mud and great views.

 

hey dc, thanks for the reply, i im'd jester to find out more. how was it? what type of trail/riding, how many miles?

 

old rr beds, alot of slag hills and mud by the river. jester is a nice guy, this pops has a BRUTE FORCE. i rode with them there. as for miles im not really sure.
