I live in NJ and the only place the state offers is Chatsworth and Englishtown.
Can anyone give me a location I may be able to ride without too much trouble??
I am registered and Insured.

 

Good question. I lived in Jersey for 6 years and couldn't even find a place to drive my truck off road. I can tell you lots of stories about outrunning the park rangers and police on dirt bikes and quads. It's time for you to save up and pay that toll to get out of the state if you want to ride.

 

Ive lived in NJ my whole 30 years an there is like 2 places to ride legally.I feel as Long as we have socialists runing this state ya might as well put a shotgun up ya @@@ cause it aint never gona happen.sorry to be so blunt an frank bout that by the way.I got the perfect proverbial middle finger for every 1.Me an a friend or gonna get a few people together an buy 50-100 acres somewhere.It will only cost us 100-200 bucks a month if enough people go in w him. theres a place to ride in carteret I heard an no 1 bothers ya but Id be damned If Ill ride in a toxic waste dump.1 LAST THING to register an insure ya quad in this state is like pissing in the wind,cause your screwing yourself either way an worse lining these people in power pockets.

 

hey, i live in west milford NJ Upper GreenWood Lake. I ride in places i guess you can say i shouldn't be. But anyway, i was looking for places to ride that cops don't bother you at. and also, about buying that land. talk more about it, spread the word, and iam sure its going to work! I have a few friends that will help, (about 7).

 

Yeah, I have a boat at Greenwood lake and go paintballing at ABC every weekend and i see trails in the woods and stuff. Im gunna have to check that out wen i get my grizzly pretty soon. pce

lol i beg 2 differ. i love nj ive rode in alot of states but nj is by far the best. Southern jersey in ocean and burlington counties are the best places to ride. Ive lived here all my life. Along the parkway theres a trail that runs from the mullica river bridge to toms river. If you find this trail theres probally 50 different sand pits to ride. When you ride around here you dont really worry about cops or park rangers n just ride to have fun no big deal if they ever try 2 bother us well just leave n go 2 another pit and come back later.lol watch for the locals the state piggys really dont care there usually really down to earth and dont care as long as ur not making an as@ out urself.

 

i live near toms river, and i ride in lacey most of the time. we get chased 1 out of every 4 weekends we ride. me and my friends been running from the rangers all our lives so it's just second nature to us now. but if you want to ride in nj then that's just what you have to do.

 

yea man i love lacey. Do you go to the power lines on memorial day off of exit 69 on the parkway. The boys n i all went up there 2 years ago before i moved away and the cops said they were only letting locals in and gave my friend a ticket for having a muddy tagplate. Man i hate local cops in nj there all @ss'es.

 

yes i use to but the state bought the land where everybody would camp this year and they blocked it off really good this year. but i like to ride in the sand pits out there. where did you move to.
