I am thinking of planning a trip to St. Anthony Dunes. I have herd alot about them and they sound really great. I was just wondering what it took to be over there. (When are they open to and from, what kinda passes do you need, stickers required, places to camp?) Any info that anybody has would be great. Thanks!

 

The dunes are open all the time except some winter closures. You need a flag, and an off-road sticker or similar registration from your home state. No need to buy permits or Idaho licensing. Check out dunereview.com and there are many very informative pictures and some video of St Anthony. If you make a trip, post here on the forums and one of us yahoos would probably meet you there and show you around and drink your beer.
