It's about 175 miles from my house in Plainfield add 100 miles if you are coming from Normal. For you and me, the quickest way is still going through Indiana but I would recommend going that way once for the experience. Do you go to Silver Lake often? If so, how do you go? We are going on Saturday.

 

I actaully live in arlington Hts, Il..which is 40 min north of Chicago. I go to school in Normal, IL (ISU). I went to silver lake 3 times in 99. But was unable to go this past year becuase i rebuilt my Banshee and it took longer than i thought(still waiting for my cylinders) I still want to go this year because i should be getting my cylinders in about a week. When does silver lake close??

 

My book on Mi. state parks says Oct. 31. I couldn't find it on the Mi. DNR website. We're going the weekend of the 14 & 15. This will be the first time we've camped up there, so i'm looking forward to that.

 

Hi all...Being a Wisconsinite I haven't had the pleasoure of going duning, but I would definately like to! Before I would go though I would end up getting some sand tires (at least). I was wondering where Silver Lake is? I know it's in Michigan, but where? How many miles from "the lions den" or Grand Rapids?
