I just got back from West Virginia where me and three of my buddies rode the Hatfield McCoy trail system, all I can say is WOW!!!!! I put 212 miles of steep rocky terrain under my tires in 4 days. the HM trails have four systems to ride but we stayed on the Rockhouse trail system for this trip, there are 115 miles of trails plus all the local trails and no access trails which the locals ride on, we "accidentally" came across a few of them along the way. I can't wait till next year so we can ride the Rockhouse trail system again and go to either the Pinnacle or Buffalo mountain systems too. I have all my pics uploaded into my photobucket page, to view them just click on the "My Photos" link below in my signature.

silverbullet2005,
I can tell by the pictures that you stayed at the Browning Fork Trail House. Is that not the most convenient place to stay? I think that I was there about a week before you. It was so nice being able to ride straight up the road to hit the trails.
Marty is the best host. He helped us with everything that we needed. I will definitely go back and stay at Marty and Lisa's place again.

Yes I agree, Marty and Lisa were terrific hosts and the trail access is really convenient like you said. Marty did a great job keeping the firewood stocked and they even have the water hose for the riders to spray of there atv's/bikes. We are already talking about going back down next year and we will definitely be staying at the browning fork trailhouse with lisa and Marty.
