For anyone venturing around the Pocano mountains of east-central Pennsylvania, I can certainly recommend that they try Jack Frost! For those that are unfamiliar, it is a ski resort that had the foresight to get involved in the motocross business. I first rode there about a year ago, just after the track opened. At the time, they had one intermediate level moto track and a woods trail. It was full of huge rocks and very poorly groomed! Stock 400EX came back with a bent rim & tie rod. Just back up there this weekend and it's like night & day! They now have a kids (under 80cc) track, 3 motocross tracks and the woods trail. The one new moto is gigantic (probably 1/2 mile loop...and it's great for quads). On Sat. I'd estimate that there were 300 bikes and 200 quads at the site. They've really cleaned up and groomed the tracks now. Admission is $25/day and they have season passes available. Jack Frost is located near the intersection of Rt. 80 and 476 (the NE Extension of the PA turnpike) in Blakeslee. Any quadder's want to meet there for a run?

I Have to add to you comment that it is good for a Sport ATV. If you realy want to ride trail continue a little further west to Wilkes-Barre were there is real trail riding for miles and miles. Email me if you need to know where to park. Also if you do any riding in this area be respectful of others I realy hesitate to give out location because people abuse that area i.e. racing around parking area make all kinds of noise. Keep it slow a quiete till you get away from houses Please.

I would love to check out the trails out at Wilkes-Barre, i have been to Tower City which was cool. I am hesitant about an aftermarket exhaust because of the noise it makes. I always get mad when i see people polluting or acting dumb. Jack Frost sounds worth checking out now. There is also a track at Raceway Park in EnglishTown NJ.
