Wisconsin ride
#1
Well the wife and i left for wis. on the 18th of june and got to BRF on the 19th. stayed at the arrowhead bestwestern which is right on the trail. I lived up there all my life untill the past 3 years and have since lived in atlanta. so it was a treat for me to get back up there on vacation. the best time to ride up there if you can is during the week. we had the trails pretty much to our selves and we got out there on Mon. morn right after the groomer went through. the 50 miles of trails were very nice around the BRF loop although very dry and dusty. then we decided to head towards hatfield and the trail started out smooth but as we got into it / it became like 20 miles of whoop section all the way to hatfield. even riding on my brute force 750 gave me a beatin. we only rode a total of 130 miles but it was well worth it. the heat started to build in up there so it was like being here in atlanta so we headed back a day early. if anyone has a question on where to go or stay up there give me a hollar. oh yeah and for anyone going up there from georgia, be prepared to spend about 6 hrs just driving through the state of IL.
