I'm planning on being in the Priest Lake area for a week on vacation and I'm wondering about riding my ATVs up there. It appears from thier websight (USFS) that Idaho requires some sort of liability insurance. Do they ever check for this? Do I really need it?? I don't have it because Oregon and Washington doesn't require it. I'll only be riding the gravel roads and trails, mainly just heading into some lakes to fish and such. Unless there's cops rolling around stopping ATVs ....
Where do It get the Idaho permits? Will my Oregon permit be good enough or do I need an Idaho permit? What does it take to get one?
