There are 14 of us going, this will be our third trip to Marrienville. The trails at marrienville are pretty tame, not to challenging. But we always meet some really great people. The weather is supposed to be great for a change, the last two times the weather was pretty bad. There is a quarry on the yellow loop that is always a lot of fun, MUD and WATER!!!! Hopefully they will have the rodeo again this is always a fun event. They didnt have it this spring. I think the folks from the fire company need to keep reinventing this event or it will fizzle out. The trails themselves wont keep people coming back. We stay at a place called Evergreen Cabins in Cooksburg. The woman who runs the place is named Linda, and a real Sweetheart. The cabins are about 10 miles from Marrienville. SEE YA THERE!!!

It is advertised as a ride through the forest. If you looked at the web site you would have understood what you were in for. This is a FAMILY ride, Not a race. It is for enjoying the leaves and the scenery. And that is how it is advertised.
So whats your issue.

I did look at the website, while I did read that "this is not a race" I also noticed it said they made a new "trail". From what I heard it was allmost exactly the same route as it has been. I just wanted to note in the forum that it wasnt what I expected compared to how it was advertised.
