Hi all, I am new to the forums here. This last saturday My buddy and I went down to Deepwater, Mo. (about an hour from my place) I had never been there and I will be returning soon. I had an absolute blast. The lack of rain lately made for a very dusty ride as well as few mudholes, but the mud holes that were there were bad. My buddy has a suzuki eiger 4x4 and tried to make it through a crossing and got stuck. I told him he needed to hit it harder, he responded saying that even if he could make it accross that I couldnt. Well, I tried. I hit hard in second with the front end about a foot off the ground and when I hit the mud I stopped like I hit a brick wall. It threw me over the bars and flat on my back in the muddy water. He was laughing like a carnie taking your kids money. Anyway, I had a great time and will be going down again in the next week or so.

Hey Suzusaki, the mud at Deepwater is like concrete at this time of yr. wait till late Sept and Oct. the mud will be good then. I live by BlueSprings and Independence and have been to DW alot. I pm you the next time I go or even go to Finger lakes. It is a bit further but twice as much fun a DW. I'll pm you with my email address.
