Cool post!

Here at the roost, we feature nothing but open riding.

With Mud Bogs, Hill climbs, Off cambers, water crossings, rocks roots and such.

The motocross tracks are open riding as well, just bang bars and have fun.

Spectating is always free, as is camping, firewood, and hospitality.

We only have about 10 weekends left to ride, so let's go!

Sounds good. Heck I would even pay a few bucks to ride for a day.

Hey pimpt, Your gonna be six whole miles up the street!
stop by and say Hi. We are six miles down the same road as the track.
Exactly one mile past Monterey Jacks. It won't even take a gallon of gas!
I know you won't have your machine with you, but your invited to drop by.

I've seen gas prices and quading discussed on other threads on this site. I will admit when it went to $3.50 I was like "I'm sitting home". Well think about it. Any one quading has a lot of $$$ tied up in it. Anywhere from say $1,000 for a POS to $15-20,000 for a pair of top end 4x4's. Well I went out riding last weekend, used 10 gallons of gas round trip. So that cost me an extra $10 than a month ago. Are you going to let thousands of ATV $$$$ sit in a garage for $10. Not me!!!

Pimpt, you are getting 18mpg out of a small block chevy? That is great. My T100 gets about 17 city. Anyway, I understand what you are saying about gas. It doesn't just cost more to ride. It costs us everyday.
Later
Matt
