Default any interest in an atv park in rochester ny?

Hey pimpt, I don't want to be the bringer of gloom, But I know as a fact
that every time someone tries to do this anywhere near ROCHESTER
or the suburbs, that it gets shot down rather quick.
Unfortunately city life comes with zoning, and noise ordinances.
I get riders here that have been ticketed for running the machine in the
garage at tune up time.

Rochester is over run with Horse people that think of us off roaders
as "Hells Angels on dirt" (yet somehow it is acceptable to use
utility quads to maintain the horse farm? Go figure)

It's also overrun with rich people and liberals who think they know what is best for everyone.

I understand fully. No problems from me.
But I know of a guy out your way that wanted to ride on his own land,
and the neighbors all went berserk over it.

I wish we all had a thousand places to ride! really I do.

NY sucks if you like to ride. But that is well known to all of us.

I live in Henrietta and I had code enforcement at my house because of one of the neighbors. I put a new carb on my Harley and was in the garage, door closed, running it for a short time. The very next day, they were at my house threatening to give me a noise ordinance ticket.
The left is even closing down trails to mountain bikers these days. We should have seen this coming when 2-strokes started getting phased out.

When I first started, all I wanted to do was ride,
It was free, and all of a sudden I had hundreds of "Friends"

Just wait till the guys with High compression pistons,
Race cams and big gun pipes start showing up!

And then the dust, Etc.........

Your gonna need 22 acres just for parking.

Yea fees suck, but how else do you maintain the property?
Not one rider will bulldoze for free. I tried.

Water Pumps, Hoses, Heavy equipment, Maintenance, etc...
All takes cash, and lots of it.

as soon as it becomes commercial, business licences, and tax certificates
Insurance & expenses all become a reality. Not to mention toilets,
or the health department come knocking on the door.

Then some joker from way up the road will start a petition.............

Easy pal, compare my situation to yours? I never even heard of you. My tow vehicle also get 18. My favorite spot is 180 mile round trip so I use 10 gallons. So it's $10 extra per trip, not per month. And someone else brought up the gas prices of traveling long distances to ride. Lastly, Blasters ride on 93/94 octane also

I live on Long Island and i would love to ride somewhere thats legal and not to far away. i have been riding for about a year or two with a yamaha warrior and there is no places to go in New York. if you build a place that has miles of trails to ride on, i would gladly come out and pay my fee and ride for the weekend.

good luck in opening a place, and try to advertise on long island to get tons of customers
