edum hill in cathedral city right off the I-10is know closed for riding... this past week BLM when out there and where giving tickets
you could get your quad taken away if they want to is a federal offence.. its part of reverside county... but the platows on varner arnt
thats 1000 palms or cat city but i bet u can still get a ticket from the sherif.... i gess they passed a law and can now only ride like places like glamis..

 

Riverside County has never been very off-road friendly. I use to get busted (they would send the helicopter after me) for riding a MOUNTIAN BIKE in the hills between La Sierra and Corona. Of course, as soon as the helicopter left, I was right back out there riding!

 

The local Riverside paper had an article about that area a few weeks ago. Cat City is thinking of ways to stop riding there, two options were more law enforcment giving tickets or digging a long, deep trench to keep people out, the article made it seem like they were leaning towards the trench idea. Apparently there is also some planned development for that area, so once that starts no more riding there.
