ME AND SOME BUDDIES JUST REGISTERED IN MASS. WE HAVE THE LIST OF LEGAL PLACES TO RIDE, BUT I AM LOOKING FOR A FIRST HAND ACCOUNT ON WHICH ONE IS THE BEST THIS YEAR..MUD? ROCKS? SMOOTH? ROUGH?STREAMS?????

 

There aren't many legal places to ride. I've never actually ridden on any of them. There are however miles of trails all around. I leave my backyard and can ride for hours and hours. I've heard horror stories of quad riders getting hassled in the eastern part of the state, but I've never had a problem around here.

I am from the Fall River, Westport, MA area..

 

There are several legal state forests with camping.such as pittsfield state forest and tolland state forest.they will take your machines and leave you with a large ticket if you are not registered in mass though.i heard from local guys that there is a lot of mud . that sounds sweet to us we are going to tolland state forest on sunday to have a little fun without the misses...

 

I registered today in mass. $40.00....

I am pumped! i have haD my ride for over a month and have yet to go riding. I just ordered my rear seat, and hope that it gets here by the weekend.

I live out on the Cape. If you only want to ride legal, don't bother coming out here. Although the cops don't bother me at all, it's Eniromental Police who can screw you.

 

i hear ya the ep's suck.. they love to bust out there quads and put up a chase

 

I live near you. Shoot me a PM sometime if you are going riding. Freetown lets in bikes, but not quads...I don't know why.

 

i go to pittsfield state forest every saturday from 12 in the afternoon till 7 at night. there is ALOT of mud and a ton of mud pits their.

 

It is a few hours ride just to get out there! I will do it some day though. Going to Maine this weekend...over 200 miles in 2 days of riding!
