Are logging roads in Sumerset CO., closed to utility atv's???? I've found no signs.

 

If that's part of the North Maine Woods then yes they are. I know for a fact that the NMW is completely closed down to ATVs because they have signs up at the checkpoints.

Actually looking at a map it looks like that's a little bit further southeast than the NMW so maybe not. Does no sign mean it's OK? I would guess it probably is but you'll want to check to make sure.

Also if you go bring a CB, plenty of gas, and look out for logging trucks. They'll squash you like a bug.
