Default Where to ride in the bay area, CA.?

Looking for places to ride around the bay area and south. I live in Fresno, relatives with quads live in antioch. Looking for somewhere in between. We like trail riding .. casual and technical. Also enjoy just riding around. Also , we ride with some young kids too.

#1. I know of Carnegie.
#2. And there is some place outside of merced of hwy 59. Dont know anything about that place.

Good question mcriderbmw, I ride at carnegie for the majority of my day trips and also want to go to FrankRaines Park more this year too. Its about 20 miles west of the patterson exit on I-5. Its not really a quad friendly riding area though. I just tried Miami Flats out of oakhurst last year and liked it a lot, and so do some of the quad guys who go there. If any one knows of a place please feel free to comment.

Yeah, we're really looking for places close by for day trips close to the east bay i.e. 1-2 hours drive. I live close to Miami Creek trails and enjoy them. Never ridden at Raines Park, but have seen it. You say its not too quad friendly? in what way?

Very steep and deeply rutted terrain. I havnt been there in a few years so it might have changed some but probubly not much. The oldest son and I love it on our dirt bikes, but the youngest son is more of a mxer and didnt like it at all. The wife refuses to even take her quad there.
