Hey, how are the trails there. Ive been to the nelsonville part of wayne and i like it. Are you talking about trails that are wayne trails or more private trails. I prefere private trails because they always seem to be ruffer. There is a group in my town scheduled to go toe the ironton district may 27 28.

the trails out at the old cement plant are private, and a bunch of doombuggies made most of the trails so some are pretty rough, but i wouldnt have it any other way.its a good mixture of big hills, mud, clay, rutts, and even cross a few creek beds.this is were i ride mostly. i also ride at the stripmines on 650.(als called hanging rock orv trails, or wayne national.)you must buy a pass for there ,but it is only 25$ a year. its nice too ,alot more riders out there, the trails are marked not only by location ,but also by difficulty. these trails are kept up yearly by wayne national. also the sheriffs patrol on atv sometimes, but they're not that bad as long as you have your pass and state sticker. the positive is that alot of people ride, makes for a fun time!

I head down to the Nelsonville area of Wayne National a few times a year with my crew. Not a lot of challenges, but I love to go for the camping and scenery on the trails. Kind of nice to take a break from racing and rough riding every once in a while.

Is there a good place in the area to camp for a 4 day weekend and be able to ride, and not have to cover the same trails?

hanging rock/wayne national orv trails, located on state rt 650. it opens on april 16, when you buy your pass to ride they give you a map of the trails . there are three main trails, most popular is hanging rock trail, then copper head trail, cant remember other one. they have 30 or so ponds to fish out of , you can camp any were you want. you wont pass the same place twice either, i think they have around 130 miles of trails, and there are trails off the main ones that are still left from when it was strip mined. all there main trails are maintaned quite well, they even mark the name of the trail your on and the difficulty of it.this is good place if you like riding with others too. always see someone do something crazy. this about the only place wifey will go riding with me.
