Any trip plan to go there after thanksGiving. I would like to go but with someone that knows the trails somewhat.

 

As a matter of fact yea, extreme brought it up last night.

Right now I'm overlaying the Hat mc map onto a local topo map.

I am also checking wheather[cold] history for the area but those mountins are proving very unpredictable.

That place is blairwitch dark and remote,,,,,,,,,Perfect!

Does anybody have gps logs for this trail? I'd like to add that layer to the finial map.

Derrick, we are meeting WayneB and David Sink there on Thanksgiving weekend as well. We are riding at Rock House, I believe, and are staying at the Paradise Island campground. At least, we may run into each other on the trails, but maybe we can hook up for a combined ride. If you're interested, contact WayneB, as he is coordinating our get-together....

Hey Vic! Is JJ coming with his piece-a-crap ds? Now I'm really torn...supposed to go to the mountains for buck season. Tom and I were thinking of coming down to see Wayne and ride on fri and sat. Man!...so little time.

 

Buck Season?! Buck that! You could always Hunt one day in the Shenendoah mountains on the way down or some of the bordering WV counties that allow hunting. Anyways, seriously doubt we'll have to put up with the DS this time. Wus-Boy probably wants to spend that time with his family and girlfriend. Hope he sees this. Hope you guys decide to come down!!!
