INDIANA RIDERS NEED SOME NEW RIDING
I drove to Moto Supreme today. It it 26 miles off of I-65 off a SR 58,took about 40 minutes to get there.I walked the main loop and a few mild trails. I had my boys with me which are 3 and 8.So I didn't venture too far .There are alot of STEEP climbs, the majority of the ones I saw my AC probably wouldn't make it up.I definately couldn't take the kids.It would be easy to slide down a hillside just walking. Alot of the climbs are slick slate. This is a place to ride in a decent sized group to make sure there are people to help if you get in trouble.

Moto Supreme is no joke. I have ridden there a few times because its only an hour from home but the trails are just too rediculous to have any kind of enjoyable riding. Also it is very small. Some of the barbed wire fences on the edge of the park aren't very well marked.
I went to black mountain a few weeks ago for the first time. It was absolutely awesome. Trails are mapped and you can pick your difficulty. RU8UP2 - your kids would not have any problem there. PM me if you want to see pictures and videos of the trails at blackmountain.
Hows redbird? I haven't registered yet...not sure if its worth it. anyone have any input?

Bud167 alot of those pics look like you might have been off the mapped area? Is that the case? And where did you get the guide? We were wanting to get a guide to take us off the marked trails and go on our own. We went down there about 5 weeks ago and loved every minute of it. Cant wait til the next trip.

INDIANA RIDERS NEED SOME NEW RIDING
we were on the mapped area . we met the guy who acted as a guide on the trail, he was from Tennessee and was kind enough to take us in tow . I believe his name was Jim Bogg. He was at the community campfire that the Ridgerunner have ever night. Had a few rough spots that my wife wouldn't take but they had cut a trail around them last year or so believe it was off trail12 at the mason jar trail. We stayed on 12 and came back on 25 and 12 , may have been a few trail in between , our guide just knew his way around wasn't sure about the maps we had . Did have a GPS and we were at the helicopter pick up points according to the maps info. Think we have another trip in the making for middle of July with the son and grandson and probably a few others still in the planning stages. If you go again the ridge runer have a forum might get on there and ask if they have someone who would be willing to take you on a tour , sure that they would be able to help in some way. If I can be of any help feel free to ask
