gettin ready for Brown Mountain on April 1st has anybody ever been there? can you let me know how it is?

 

Have rode there many times. The trails are usually real good at the first of the season. As the year goes on the dirt around the rocks, boulders gets washed away or the places get rutted and it gets pretty rough. Don't know what type of trails you are use to, trail 1 that goes off to the left out of the parking lot and trail 9 back down the mountain can be pretty intimidating if you have not rode a lot of "mountain type" trails. The first time I took my wife there she called trail 1 the "TRAIL FROM ELL". Now she rides them and doesn't complain. Hope this helps.
