socal hungry valley/gorman

hello to all cool site for atv info. hey is hungry valley and gorman here in socal off the 5 freeway the same place? im confused on that. i use to do trail riding in gorman about 25 years ago and loved that place alot. now i also see a place runned and operated by the state called hungry valley state ohv area. are they both the same place? if they are not please can any tell me the difference between the 2 places huh?

Yes, they are the same. Most people call Hungry Valley State Vehicle Recreation Area "Gorman." Which would rather say? lol. Just like Oceano Dunes State Vehicle Recreation Area is aka "Pismo." Back in the mid-80s the state founded the SVRAs.
