Anywhere to ride in Memphis, TN?
#2
The place you are referring to in Memphis is the Wolf river bottoms. It is between the Jackson Ave. exit and the Covington Pike exit. It is a good place to ride but beware. If you get stuck or break down for no reason should you leave your quad unattended. You won't find it on your return.
I noticed you were from Bells, I have heard of a place around Covington toward the Miss. river bottoms that is pretty nice ( sorry I can't think of the name).

the sand pit you are talking about is just across the arkansas bridge in marion, ark. it consists of three or four pits where a company has dug out sand and gravel and some trails. there is also the sugar creek trails near covington,tn.

from memphis:take the either bridge(i-40 or i-55)because they merge together in west memphis and the split. take the i-55 split to the marion exit. when you exit i-55 you will turn left to go under the 1-55 overpass onto hwy 64. take hwy 64 about five miles and roseboro island road will be on the right. turn here and the entrance to the sand pits is about a half mile on the left

to get to the sugar creek trails-if you are going south on hwy 51 you will turn right on hwy 59 going to the river. stay on this road for until about two or three miles from the river and it will be on the left. you cant miss the entrance because there is a big gravel parking lot with trails leaving it.
