I'm retired Army myself. You can hook up with us. We ride our Utilities hard and fast. We usually shoot for 75-100 mile days! We go to Harlan County, KY. "Evarts" Trailhead,.... and also Coal Creek, TN."WindRock". Many from your area"E-Town, Ratcliff, Louisville tag along often. You'd have no trouble linking up with some really great folks to dirty up your Quad for sure! PM me if you want to know more!

I tell ya, if you want some good riding, i would go visit Daniel Boone Trails in Hyden, Kentucky. They are located just off Hal Rogers Parkway. Get off I75 in london, go towards Manchester, Hyden...get off at Hyden Exit, go to red light, turn left, go 3.5 miles and there it is. They have 100 miles of trails from easy to hard to extreme. their number is 606-672-4875. They also have an email adress i think is danielboonetrails at tds.net. i love their trails.

Best way to get there is take exit 29 off I-75 South to Corbin, through Barboursville, Pineville, Harlan and finally arrive at Evarts.
It's actually in Evarts, Ky. 8 miles from Harlan on Hwy.38

You can also go to mapquest.com and enter as your destination "Evarts, KY 40828". Hope this helps.

It's well worth the 4 hour drive. Words can't describe it. What do you have to lose? Free riding, free tour guides, free camping. Try it once and you'll be hooked. Ask anyone else who's been there.

Ok old post but I come farther than that and it is WELL worth it. I live in Ohio County just south of Owensboro and I have a fried that lives here that comes down at least once a month. Your stay in Evart will be well worth it.
