cataway, You can look this up wvatv.org or you can call 304-589-7116. This is a place real close to the Wagon Wheel that you can unload. Dont actually know if the Wagon Wheel has any info or not. The place is in Mcdowel Co. just north of Crumpler. This is a small, small town so unless you have topo you probably will have to use mapquest. Its in the corner of Mcdowell Co. next to where Mercer,Mcdowell, and Wyoming counties meet. Off Rte.52 just north of Ashland and Cherokee. Turn right off 52 onto Windmill Gap Rd. then trn lft onto McComas Rd.CR-13 and it becomes CR-17. Then trn. right onto Crumpler Rd.CR-14. Go through Crumpler. Just ask around in Crumpler and you will find the Wagon Wheel. I wish I had better directions, but I ride from some property in Raleigh Co. near Beckley all the way down there. Ive only been in the way regulars come in one time, a long time ago. There is different places to rent cabins, campers, and so on. One place is Hill Top. Wagon Wheel has some places to stay also. There is another place just out of sight of the Wagon Wheel you can park campers, but I dont know about renting. I have seen several tents set up though. We are all going up from NC very early on the 24th to a place next to Beckley called Garden Grounds. It is free to ride there also. No trail maps at either place though. So you will have to hook up with someone or use you're GPS. Heck, I would be glad to show you around Garden Grounds on the 24th. There is hundreds of miles of trails @ each place though. We went to the Wheel last time, so we're going to the Garden this time. I would be glad to hook up some other time if this is not good for ya. Always looking for new people to ride with. Let me know.

I rode the wagonwheel from the Pineville area last weekend. I mapped some coordinates on my GPS along the way that may be helpful. Riders Paradise is within a mile of the Wagonwheel along the same road. Those coordinates are [ 37 degrees 26' 46.40 W and 81 degrees 20' 57.90 ]. There are three campground restaurants in that general area. Riders Paradise was our favorite place. You could actually go in and sit down to eat if it was not crowded. The beaver dam / mud pits that Pinnacle creek is famous for are located at [ 37 degrees 29' 0.90 N and 81 degrees 23' 27.00 W ]. Hope this helps, if you need more coordinates I have a few more from that ride.
