I am heading to Minnesota in a week or so to do a little fishing, relaxing, etc. I was curious to see if anyone could help me with any places to ride while we are in the Fergus falls/ Perham area. Is there anything around or should I just leave the atv's at home and stick to the water? We also considered stopping in Black River falls, WI park on the way up from Peoria, IL. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

 

Theres not alot of public land on the western side of mn. Check the MNDNR website,Here, and it lists the trails available. Im not saying these are the only places you can ride, but they are the ones that are open to the public.
By all means bring your quads, If nothing else, the ride at BRF is worth it.

 

there is a trail near Detroit Lakes, which is not too far from Fergus. If you're looking to do some fishing, I could "hook" you up with a guide or two for the lakes east of Fergus.
