I live in the johnstown area and i'm always looking for new places to ride. Anyone have have any good suggestions on trails or fun poker runs?

 

Hi there Hoss, I'm from the Harrisburg,Pa. area and I'd like to find some places to ride anywhere. I know I'm gonna have to travel a little to find something but if its worth it thats all that matters. Where do you usually ride? Pa. sucks for having wooded trails for riding. There are coal strippings up north of Hbg. about 2 hrs. but where can we ride without having to pay and get permits?

 

I usually ride at Glendale year round in northen cambria county. we have a camp there and there are trails every where plus its private and ATVs are allowed on the roads of the camp. I also go on poker runs they are a lot of fun. There is a poker run in Blue **** on Aug 26th I think. If you go to PA Atving it is listed. I'm trying to talk my wife into going to quadfest this coming weekend, but its our anniversary so not sure if she'll go for it.

 

Wow hossrocs really Glendale?? when you have the biggest playground in your own back yard?? I live in seward pa right outside johnstown and i go riding there and i can ride 2 weeks straight and not hit every trail. I can go from seward to johnstown, to ligonier almost anywhere from up in there.

 

I'm from South Fork, can make it from windber to hastings! Like to ride rock run recreation by Patton , Central city, where quadfest was. Which by the way was a blast. Who wants to go riding?
