HEY EVERYONE, GOING TO RIDE THE CHEESE COUNTY TRAILS NEXT SATURDAY.PLANNING TO PARK AT MIKE'S ENGINE WORKS.TAKING THE WIFE ONLY ON THIS TRIP. I UNDERSTAND IT IS A PRETTY EASY IF NOT BORING RIDE.WHICH IS OK WITH ME.PLAN ON RIDING TO MONROE,WI.SHOULD TAKE ALL DAY FROM WHAT I AM TOLD.GOT TO GET OUT FOR A FINAL RIDE, NEW PART TIME JOB AT CABELA'S IN HOFF.ESTES.,IL STARTING SOON.SO MY WEEKENDS WILL BE FULL.ANYTIPS ? DO I NEED A MAP, SHOULD WE BRING GAS WITH US , ETC... WOULD LOVE TO MEET SOME FELLOW RIDERS UP THERE AS WELL IF ANYONE CAN MAKE IT.THANX FOR ALL YOUR HELP.

 

They don't have that parking area across the street from Mikes anymore. You will have to park by the camping ground. I was just there a couple of weeks ago.

And watch out for the cop on the Polaris with a radar gun - Speed limits on the Darlington main trail are strictly enforced.

The trail system is pretty nice. It is more geared for family riding. The trail is mostly flat railroad bed. There is one trail out of darlington that goes over farm fields. That trail is very nice. I think there is a total of 50 miles of trail.
