Had heard that the connector trail was going to be shut down on July 15 due to A$$HOLES speeding & ripping down it. Anyone been there lately or any locals have any info? Thanks

 

i havent been that way in awhile... but im sure i would heard something and as far as i know its still open.

 

I was there last thursday the 13th. There was a sign at each end of Hatfield that said the connector would be closed as of July 15th.

 

Called Clark cty forest service was told is closed, then BRF DNR office said think it is open so still not sure. Called Hotel they said no one has said anything so just go & see. Going down tomorrow afternoon. Watva forum said "I called Lake Arbutus Motors Sports and they said the new connecter signage was put up this last weekend it’s very close to where the old connecter went and it’s very hard to miss."

 

That would SUCK if its closed. I always stay at Russel Memorial campgrounds and ride one way one day and the other the next. Wont be as fun if I cant do that because of a bunch of butt munchers.

Ya went through on Sat also, did see is rerouted by the Mug there. Darn dusty in Clark cty, preferred Jackson.
