Default Michigan Riding

I have a simple question. I live in Michigan but I bought my bikes in Ohie, they had the best deals by several hondred dollars. Anyways, I do not have a Michigan registration or title (I have an Ohio title). Do I need to get a Michigan reqistration to ride on Michigan trails or is an ORV sticker sufficent?

Any help would be great.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Jeff

I bought my new quad in Ohio too. All you need is an ORV sticker and you can get one at any Wal-Mart.

Hope this helps,

Moto93,

Thanks for your reply.

That's what I though but my friend said that I needed to have it registered in case the DNR pulled me over for any reason.

Thanks for your time.

Sincerely,

Jeff

In 94 when I got my fisrt quad they would ask for your reqistration and your drivers license or some type of ID. I haven't been stop by them since, so I'm not sure about the rules know. I can tell you this, when my 12,ooo dollar 250 R race quad was stolen and the police found out it wasn't reqister they fill out there paper work and said there was nothing they couhd do. So I was sh t out of luck. I don't ride with my reqistration, mainly because I forget to bring it when I ride. But it would be a great way to cacth some of those people who are stealing our ATV's. But I reqister all my quads know just in case they get stolen. Plus I can not get insurance on them with out it, and by the way insurance is cheap for a quad.
