awsome ingo Ranger, Let me ask you this....
If you had to pick weather to ride sportquads at Calico or Razor road ( i havent been to either) which would you pick and why? any other tips/ info would be super, thanks.
I'm going riding this weekend! wooohooo, havent rode in a year im ashamed to admit.

 

At Rasor, absolutely a sport quad! There are some dunes and some of the trails can be whooped out, plus the riding is wide open and fast, so some nice cushy sport quad suspension is the ticket. Only place I wish I had a ute out there is crossing the river near the Afton Canyon campground. It has gotten pretty deep, and a 2wd can get stuck out in the middle.

At Calico, you can get around a lot of the places on a sport, but some of the canyons are going to require rock crawling. If you want to take full advantage of the place, it is a real kick to have 4wd and ground clearance.

When you going to Rasor???? We may be there this Saturday. Forecast says it will be HOT.

 

Yeah i checked the forecast, looks like it's gonna be warm. Might be there saturday also, prolly camp/ stage adjacent to the Razor road exit (i'm 2wd) then explore the trails with a bud, stop by for a cold brew if you see us, white expedition pulling a white toyhauler.
