riding in mass

What kind of restrictions? You can ride Pittsfield State Forest if your registered. If your talking about illegal riding then I wouldn't worry about restrictions.
There are a few parks in Western Ma that you can ride in, Pittsfield being one, I have not heard of any 'new' restrictions.
I am going there for the opening ride weekend on the Saturday the 5th of May and have already booked a group site for August and they mentioned nothing about any new laws or regulations or restrictions.
Go here They know everything about legal riding in New England.

Well to be honest, I have not rode there yet, I have read and heard lots about it. Check out that link I posted above, they would know. Those guys have convinced me to go there this summer. With the ACL surgery I'm going to have I know I'm gonna miss the may ride, just hope I can still make the August one.
It does seem that most of the guys on that site have 4x4's but I know a few other people that ride up there with a warrior, outlaw and 450r, so I think a 2wd ute or sport will do fine.
