Default socal ridding spots

after a couple years out of state i recently moved to valencia and i have NO idea were to go get some dirt on my bikes tires.. can anybody hook me up with some good places to head out to.. ocotillio wells is a name that pops up a lot as oceano dunes.. any info would help a lot..

The closest thing to you would be Hungry Valley. Up the I-5, near Gorman. There might be some limited riding in the mountains north of you (Los Padres NF???).

Other than that, there are lots of places but they all require a drive. My personal favorites are Rasor Rd./Afton Canyon, Ocotillo Wells, and my local San Bernardino Mountains.

Not to far from you is el mirage and the glen helen raceway. Dont forget to check out johnsonn valley and dumont dunes.
