DEAD HORSE RUN / CLAM LAKE WI
#6
I was there last August and there was planty of meud and water. Nothing that you would get stuck in though. It was my first time in the area and it was a nice trail to ride. One of our favorites from our weekend of riding.

I heard its possible but I have never done it- I would take a look at a detailed road map because I would be willing to bet it wouldn't be too hard to figure it out using the "atv route" roads and trails. Good luck...

The problem is, once you leave the Iron county trail system all maps just like turn to crap, Ashland county has a route that is called 77A but does that directly connect to Iron county trail 77?

FYI to any of you who may be planning a trip to Dead Horse trail area—there is currently no fuel in Clam Lake apparently their gas station was foreclosed on and they’re in litigations. Thought this might be a helpful piece of information to any of you who may be planning a trip to the area in the near future. Wish we had known before we nearly ran out of gas last weekend, thus changing the motive of the day from ride to have fun, to find fuel ASAP.
