It has been an extremely dry winter! We were in the Bishop/Mammoth area this weekend, and the Sierra meadows are already brown, and the amount of snow is looking more like what I am use to seeing in late September, not May! Going to be a long dry summer.....

If you are planning a trip up that way, I suggest you do it now rather than waiting later for the really dry part of the season!
