Depends on where you're from.

In Mass? Forget it... there is hardly any LEGAL riding areas in Eastern Mass. Only place I found with 4x4 worthy trails in NH is the Hillsborough area. I have been up to Northern NH and I am less than impressed.

southern maine is really the only place to ride with tons of legal trails. as for S.NH,
the only place with lots of trails is the clairemont/newport area(sugar river trails &
SCATV). clough park is fun but small (20 miles)

I just got back from 4 days of riding in Maine (little north of Rangeley). I thought it was awesome up there. The trails were great, offered a little of everything, mud, rocks, roads.... It was more of a drive but well worth it. We did about 225 miles in 2 1/2 days.

I can't wait to get back up there. Maybe take a trip further up towards Moosehead Lake region, I hear it's nice up there......
